Grants and Fellowship

USGA launched an aggressive grant making program in 1997 to help organizations develop introductory golf programs and alternative golf facilities for youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, minority youth, girls and individuals with disabilities.
The Colorado PGA Foundation was created for the purpose of administering the charitable and philanthropic affairs on behalf of the golf professionals within the Colorado Section PGA.
The First Tee's mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character-development and life enhancing values through the game of golf.

The Junior Golf Leader Award recognizes the PGA Professional who is a leader in junior golf and who reflects the ideals of those who work with youth. Work includes involvement in the promotion and development of junior golf at the club level and support for national junior golf programs.
Gold Crown Foundation provides fun and educational golf opportunities to juniors. PALS (Players Acquiring Life Skills) is a unique program where a golf professional will provide instruction to every player at every event at no additional cost.
The LPGA Urban Youth Golf Program is a community-based, risk-prevention program that uses the fundamentals of golf to remove barriers that would otherwise prohibit these youngsters from participating in a sport that can bring a lifetime of joy and opportunity.
Open Fairways is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk and underprivileged children through the game of golf and its core values of honor, etiquette and respect and their application on and off the course.
IThe INTERNATIONAL at Castle Pines ran from 1986 to 2006. In its 21 years this PGA tournament was one of golf’s premiere events. In recent years it lead the way for junior golf throughout the state of Colorado by organizing Youth Day, a special day of the tournament week because it was devoted to kids.
The US Women's Open was held at Cherry Hills Country Club June 20-26, 2005. eDimples is excited about the USWO's desire to reach out to Juniors and appreciates the opportunity to have worked with them during the tournament.
